On March 9, 2024, Rovshan Najaf, President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), met with Magzum Mirzagaliyev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kazakh National Company KazMunayGaz.
Throughout the meeting, both parties expressed satisfaction with the flourishing relations between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan across all sectors, particularly emphasizing on the energy industry. They highlighted that the road map signed between SOCAR and KazMunayGaz last year provides abundant opportunities for further expanding relations.
The parties explored opportunities to strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation and exchanged perspectives on various areas such as oil processing, transit, trade, and other mutual interests.
