On September 9-11, 2022, Baku Higher Oil School will host the Energy and the Fourth Industrial Revolution Hackathon competition jointly organized by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) and the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM). The hackathon covering the themes of Energy and Internet of Things, Energy and Artificial Intelligence, Energy and Digital Economy aims to support innovative ideas for applying “green” and digital energy technologies, developing the use of recoverable energy resources and strengthening the energy security of Azerbaijan, particularly in the country’s economic regions of Eastern Zangazur and Karabakh. According to the terms of the competition, the teams that score first, second, and third places will be awarded 5000, 3000, and 2000 AZN, respectively. Additionally, two more teams will receive an incentive prize of 500 AZN. Those willing to participate in the Hackathon can apply to the Organizing Committee until August 20.

Recently, the name of the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) has been misused in various proposals made to legal and physical persons individually and corporately for cooperation, job creation, investment opportunities, etc. through social media platforms, e-mail or phone calls.

In order to buy a cooperative apartment in the residential complex built in the territory of Bibiheybat settlement, the citizens registered in the housing list between the mentioned dates are requested to apply to the Residential Areas Department of the Head Office within a month from the day of the announcement.
