In the third quarter of 2025, SOCAR drilled 12,000 meters1 across its fields. At fields operated independently or as a main shareholder, the company produced 1.8 million tons2 of oil and 1.94 billion cubic meters3 of gas. Nationwide, gas production rose by 7.4% compared to the same period in 2024, reaching 13 billion cubic meters4, while total crude oil production in Azerbaijan reached 7 million tons5.
During the quarter, SOCAR exported 4.1 million tons6 of oil to international markets. This volume includes oil produced by SOCAR as well as the profit shares of oil from international consortia operating in Azerbaijan that belong to SOCAR and the Azerbaijani state. Nationwide, natural gas exports reached 6.3 billion cubic meters7, while domestic consumption remained at 2.4 billion cubic meters8, reflecting an 8.7% growth in gas exports.
SOCAR processed 1.7 million tons9 of oil and 760 million cubic meters10 of gas during the third quarter. The company exported 639.2 thousand tons11 of oil, petrochemical, and gas-chemical products from its facilities in Azerbaijan, marking a 2.7% increase in these exports compared to the previous period.
