SOCAR organized the first Legal and Compliance Forum, bringing together legal and compliance professionals from SOCAR Group companies operating in different countries, along with representatives of leading international law firms. The Forum aimed to foster the exchange of knowledge and experience and to address emerging legal risks.
Panel discussions focused on “International Arbitration Disputes”, “Corruption and the Global Energy Sector”, and “Legal Challenges in the Business Environment”.
Participants underscored the importance of strengthening team spirit among SOCAR Group entities worldwide and ensuring close cooperation to effectively respond to challenges in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
The Forum also reaffirmed SOCAR’s commitment to legal integrity, ethical values, transparency, and the highest standards of corporate governance, reflecting the company’s ongoing efforts to reinforce a robust compliance culture across the Group.
SOCAR intends to organize the Legal and Compliance Forum on an annual basis.
