SOCAR has reaffirmed its commitment to international best practices and high ethical standards by launching a new training program in the field of compliance.
The first session of the training program, conducted by The Consultant Global, brought together SOCAR's President, Vice Presidents, segment leaders, and heads of SOCAR's structural divisions and enterprises.
The training covered the formation of a compliance culture, SOCAR’s updated Business Ethics and Code of Conduct, the requirements of newly enacted compliance-related documents and procedures, and insights into international best practices.
The training sessions were conducted in an interactive format, incorporating discussions and practical approaches aimed at regulating internal corporate relations from a compliance perspective and addressing emerging questions in this field.
SOCAR’s new compliance system establishes employee conduct guidelines while also regulating relationships with third parties to detect and address corruption and other illegal or unethical practices in a timely manner.
Through this training program, SOCAR reaffirms its commitment to transparency and leading business principles. The compliance system and related training initiatives, built on international best practices, support the implementation, monitoring, and communication of internal regulatory documents, ensuring that key principles and requirements are effectively conveyed to relevant stakeholders while enhancing overall compliance awareness.
To integrate business ethics and a compliance culture into all areas of the company's activities, SOCAR has planned training sessions for employees at its Head Office and all enterprises within the SOCAR Group.
