SOCAR RUS LLC was established in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation in 2013. Since 2016, the company has been accredited at the St. Petersburg Stock Exchange to be eligible to participate in oil, petrochemical and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) exchanges. In 2017, SOCAR’s Russian subsidiary, which has already become an active participant in the exchange, began selling low-density polyethylene, LDPE.
Thus, since the 7th of April 2017, SOCAR RUS has been selling 15803-020 LDPE produced by Azerkimya in the local market. Since 2019, the company has also been selling PP and HDPE produced by SOCAR Polymer in the Russian market. The product is delivered to Russia by road, sea and railway.
In addition, the company trades in oil, liquefied gas, naphtha and other raw materials in the local market and also has an opportunity to promptly deliver various petrochemical products, including ethylene benzene fraction, aluminium chloride, ethylene glycol, various alcohols, mineral and synthetic petroleum oils, petrol, kerosene, aviation fuel, fuel oil and other products to customers in any quantity.
