The South-West Gobustan Agreement Area is divided into three blocks (A - north block, B - central block and C - coastal block) consisting of 13 structures (Duvanny, Dashgil, Kenizedagh, Solakhay, Toragay, Gadjiveli, Ilkhichi, Nardaran-Akhtarma, Sundi, Donguzlug, Shikhzagirli, Sheytanud, Burgud). The agreement covers a total area of 600 km2. The coastal bloc (351 km2) consisting of the Duvanny, Dashgil, and Kenizedagh fields is located 90 km SW of Baku. The central block (area of 146 km2) is located 30 km NW of the coastal block. In turn, the north block (113 km2) is located on the Sumgayit-Shamakhi road in the southern foothills of the Great Caucasus mountains. The East Gadjiveli and Dashgil strata contain an abundance of oil and gas.
Cumulative oil production as of January 1, 2011 was 333,000 tons at the Dashgil field and 45,000 tons at East Gadjiveli.
