There is not such a field in oil industry where role
of geophysical researches are not be decisive. We
may also concern it to legendary Neft Dashlary
oil-gas field discovering. In the second half of
1949 during logging works operated in exploration
well №1 some oil-gas objects were discovered in
prospective layer section. On November 7 of the same
year under leadership of crew supervisor on
petroleum geophysics V. Motyash have been perforated
a well, which gave oil daily with flow rate of more
than 100 t from 942 m depth and so firstly was
founded offshore oil-extracting chronicle in the
world.
At first geophysical researches conducted timely in
Neft Dashlary, since 1952 has been created
independent enterprise later it turned to
expedition.
Thousands of production and exploration wells have
been drilled in Neft Dashlary, electrical and
partially radioactive and acoustic surveys have been
operated in all wells. Currently in 14
logging-perforation team are working 74 specialists.
We would like to note that Neft-Dashlary petroleum
geophysics expedition works have always been highly
appreciated, just a lot of new devices and
equipments for Petroleum Geophysics Department have
been firstly conducted a trial here and received its
using certificate.
Selfless employeers of expedition works not only in
Neft Dashlary oil-gas field but also in Palchig
pilpilasi, Chilov adasi, Gunashli and in other
fields.
During celebration dedicated to the 60th
year anniversary of Neft Dashlary together with
advanced oil-workers were proudly remembered the
names of other geophysicists as heads of expedition
V. Banniy, H. Rustamov, G. Melikov, M. Rzayev, Z.
Mammadov, chief engineers Y. Sinyakov, S. Alkhazov,
E. Chernishenko, M. Zeynalov, A. Abdulov, I.
Ibrahimov, A. Mammadov, S. Movlayev, heads of team
V. Motyashi, K. Haciyev, Sh. Asgarov, A. Abdulov, E.
Shirinov, J. Gojamanov, V. Lipanov.
Currently head of expedition Zulfali Mammadov and
chief engineer Sahib Movlayev have great services in
ensuring modernity and effectiveness of operations.
In distinction from other Petroleum Department
organizations independent technical service and
interpretation sections were also established in
Neft Dashlary.
